NATCHEZ - Services for Jeanette Nettles, 65 , of Natchez, who died Wednesday, Aug. 22, 2007, at her residence, will be 7 p.m. today at Laird Funeral Home Union Street Chapel with the Rev. Spruce Derden officiating.
Visitation will be from 5 p.m. until service time today at the funeral home.
Mrs. Nettles was born Sept. 2, 1941, in Hammond, the daughter of Ulice J. and Lesslie Hill Savoy.
She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband Charles G. Nettles.
Survivors include her sons, Gerald Wayne Nettles and Charles Michael Nettles, both of Natchez; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two sisters; and two brothers.

Jeanette and I were classmates as girls in the Ponchatoula, Louisiana, school system and I've never forgotten that as quiet as she was, she always had a sweet smile for everyone. Our paths never met up again and through the years I tried to find her. Wish I could have found her sooner. Kathryn J. Martin
