NATCHEZ - Services for Marcus Carroll Cobb Jr., 82, of Natchez, who died Wednesday, Aug. 23, 2007, at the Mississippi State Veterans Home in Jackson, will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Laird Funeral Home Union Street Chapel.
Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.

M.C. as we all knew him,he"s my 2nd cousins husband.He was always having fun caring on with his jokes,or his funny way of teasing us,I can see him right now,like he use to be,before he got so ill,And Lillie,both were so good to my father,which daddy and Lillie,were first cousins,but for some reason,We always called him uncle and her aunt,I guess because they were so much older than us.So Aunt Lillie,I know how you are feeling right now,as you know,its only been,or will be 6 months Sat.that daddy passed away,maybe now they are up in heaven talking about,their gardens,and old times.Our prayers are with you,and your family,We love you,
