NATCHEZ — Services for George A. Reed Sr., 69, of Natchez, who died Saturday, Aug. 25, 2007 at his residence, will be 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Paul African Methodist Episcopal Church with the Rev. John Quinn officiating.

Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of Webb Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 3 to 6 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mr. Reed was born Oct. 23, 1938, in Adams County, the son of Jack and Laura Reed. He was retired from International Paper Company.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his sons, Wayne Reed and wife, Beverly, of Atlanta, George A. Reed Jr. and Corey Reed, both of Natchez; grandchildren, Wayne, Chris, Jeremy, JaCorey and Jeremy; sisters, Addie Reed, Erenstine Burks and Deborah Brazley and husband, Larry; and special friend, Rosie Lee Edwards.

Pallbearers will be friends of the family.
