NATCHEZ - Services for Willie Lee Singleton, 63, of Natchez, who died Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2007, will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at St. Mary Baptist Church with the Rev. Joseph Gibson officiating.
Burial will follow at Winston Cemetery, in Adams County, under the direction of Webb Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 2 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Mr. Singleton was born Sept. 19, 1944, in Adams County, the son of Clarence Singleton Sr. and Lurenda Singleton. He was employed at Armstrong Tire and Rubber Company as a tire builder. He was retired.
Mr. Singleton was a member of St. Mary Baptist Church where he served as a deacon. He also served in the U.S. Marine Corps and was a Vietnam veteran from which he received the Purple Heart medal for his bravery.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Survivors include his loving wife, Earlene Singleton of Natchez; daughters, Michelle Feazell and husband, Donnell, both of Braxton and Mishi Banks of Rodney; sons, Kim Singleton and wife, Sharon, both of Vidalia, Chris Cornish and wife, Flora, both of Natchez, Troy Ligions of California, John Davis of Minnesota and Clyde Ott of Jackson; his mother, Lurenda Singleton; sisters, DeElla Bell and husband, Bennie, and Dorothy King and husband, Lloyd, all of Clarksville, Tenn., Alice King and Florence Pickett, both of Natchez; brothers, Clarence Singleton and wife, Rebecca, Chris Singleton and wife, Essie, and Charles Singleton and wife, Alfredia, all of Natchez; godsister, Sue Willie Weatherspoon and husband, Melvin, both of Natchez; grandchildren, Kimara, Travis, Zemirah, Latrice, Khalil, De’Kayla, Jalen, Jamerian and A’mari; aunt, Christine Caudwell of Chicago; uncle, Curley Sanders of New Orleans; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Thomas Singleton, Richard Fleming and Tri-Stone Lodge No. 137.
