Freddie Rose was a dear friend and I am sad that I cannot be there. I knew no one that spoke badly of her. I knew plenty that admired her and called her friend. She was welcoming, friendly, caring, and took the extra steps. She was concerned when maybe others were not, and protected those she cared for. Though our friendship was distant, and of years gone by, the sorrow for her passing into the hands of God are not made any less. She will be missed, and her imprint on the lives of those she met is lasting. Though it has been 25 years since we probably last had contact, I will always remember Freddie Rose. My prayers are with your family. We, who were blessed to know you, will miss you. ( Cooter )
