Merthyr Reeves Mount II, Jonesville

1974 - 2007

JONESVILLE - Services for Merthyr Reeves Mount II, 33, of Jonesville, who died Monday, Dec. 3, 2007, in Jonesville, will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Liberty Worship Center, in Jonesville, with the Rev. Adam Comeaux officiating.

Burial will follow at White Ridge Cemetery, in Jonesville, under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home in Jonesville.

Visitation will be from 5 to 10 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mr. Mount was born Oct. 2, 1974, in Natchez, the son of Merthyr Vester Mount and Ada Wallace Mount. He was a truck driver and was a member of the Church of Christ in Jena, La.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Merthyr R. and Ernestine Mount and George and Zelda Wallace.

Survivors include his wife, Kelly Hethcote Mount of Jonesville; sons, Merthyr Reeves III and Colby Lee Mount, both of Jonesville; daughter, Jada McCade Mount of Jonesville; his parents, both of Jonesville; sisters, Tracey Mount Cockerham and June Herron and husband, Heath, all of Jonesville; and nephews, Rodney Cockerham II, Saylor Cockerham, Heath Herron II and Hayden Herron.
