FERRIDAY - Services for Terry Grant, 56, of Ferriday, who died Monday, Dec. 3, 2007, in Jonesville, will be at 2 p.m. today at Young’s Funeral Home, in Ferriday, with the Revs. Ron Ledford and Jack Middleton officiating.
Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Laird Funeral Home in Ferriday.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until service time today at the funeral home.
Mr. Grant was born June 23, 1951, in Monroe, La., the son of General Grant and Linda Whitehead Grant. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. Terry was an employee of Bell South, now AT&T, for 39 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and mother-in-law, Helen Andrews.
Survivors include his devoted wife of 37 years, Carol Andrews Grant of Ferriday; daughters, Jennifer Grant Middleton and husband, Leigh, both of Katy, Texas and Abbey Grant Segrest and husband, Robert, both of Natchez; granddaughter, Madison Middleton; sister, Patricia Ann Grant of Vidalia; father-in-law, Fred Andrews of Ferriday; brothers-in-law, Fred “Buddy” Andrews and wife, Vickie, both of Cocoa, Fla. and Keith Andrews and wife, Kaye, both of Frogmore; sister-in-law, Cookey Andrews Johnson and husband, Nathan, both of Ruth; nieces and nephews, Lande Johnson, Brandie, Jacob, Katherine, Ian, Isaac, Jordan Johnson and Lindsey, Leah Johnson, Erin Johnson and Sarah Johnson, all of Ruth, Jamie Andrews Hargis and Robbie , Hannah, Natalie, all of Vidalia, Nick Andrews and Jessalynn, Carson, all of Monroe, Penelope Andrews Boerner and David, Alisha, Matthew, Savannah, Samantha, Natasha Andrews Petrie and Joe, Julia, and Conner, all of Cocoa, Fla.; aunts and uncles, Gerald and Mary Brown, both of West Monroe, La., Jim and Ruby Lyon, both of Magnolia, Texas, Fay Hale of Bossier City, La. and Clayton Whitehead of Choudrant, La.
Pallbearers will be Lande Johnson, Jordan Johnson, Nick Andrews, Robbie Hargis, Barry Chapman, and Charles Cain.
Honorary pallbearers will be AT&T co-workers.

Terry Grant will be deeply missed by all that knew him. This whole family are all wonderful people and my prayers go out to all of them. May God be with you during this time of need and help you find peace in knowing that he went to be with our Lord.
