Daisy Louise Dawson Milby, Asheville, N.C.

ASHEVILLE, N.C. — Memorial services for Daisy Louise Dawson Milby, who died Sunday, Dec. 9, 2007, in Asheville, N.C., will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Higgins Memorial United Methodist Church in Burnsville with the Rev. Wess Sharp officiating and at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 19, 2007, at Vidalia United Methodist Church.

Mrs. Milby was preceded in death by her parents; a brother; and husband, J.W. Milby.

Survivors include a daughter, Nancy Wilby Whitley of Vidalia; son, Thomas Milby of Burnsville, N.C.; grandchildren, Emily Whitley Nash and husband, Morgan, both of Texarkana, Ark. and Meredith Whitley Brown and husband, Brandon, both of Monroe; and great-granddaughter, Maddison Claire Hinson.

In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorials be made to the Methodist Children’s Home in Ruston, La.
