Marie Ann Davis, Brookhaven

BROOKHAVEN — Services for Marie “Ann” Davis, 63, of Brookhaven, who died Saturday, Dec. 15, 2007, at Regency Hospital, in Jackson, will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at New Hope Church of Christ.

Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of Brookhaven Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home on Natchez Drive .

Mrs. Davis was born Feb. 23, 1944, in Winnsboro, La., the daughter of James Marbury and Mable Sproles Maxie. She was employed with Western Sizzlin for 17 years. Mrs. Davis was also a member of New Hope Church of Christ.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Albert and Charles Maxie; sister, Sadie Davis; and grandson, Willis Decanter Jr.

Survivors include her son, Austin Wallace of Brookhaven; daughter; Jeanne Marie Wallace Decanter and husband, Willis, both of Brookhaven; grandson, Hunter Decanter of Brookhaven; and sisters, Nita Hill of Woodbridge, Va., Peggy Hill and Louise Nettles, both of Brookhaven, and Helen Salminen of Hibbing, Minn.
