Linda Marie Johnson
1959 - 2007
NATCHEZ — Services for Linda Marie Johnson, 47, of Natchez, who died Monday, Dec. 17, 2007, in Pearl, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Clearmount Baptist Church with the Rev. Dan Alexander officiating.
Burial will follow at Simpson Cemetery under the direction of Webb Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Miss Johnson was born Dec. 27, 1959, in Natchez, the daughter of Willie Albert and Camille Ruth Johnson. She was a 1979 graduate of North Natchez High School and was employed with Mississippi Transit System. Miss Johnson was a member of Marblestone Baptist Church and enjoyed arts and crafts.
She was preceded in death by her mother; grandfathers, Emile Simpson Sr. and Pero Johnson Sr.; daughter, Camille Ruth “Nikki Boo” Johnson; and brothers, Darnell and Larnell Johnson.
Survivors include her son, Kwesia Deon Johnson and friend, Nicole Holt; her father; grandmothers, Clara Simpson and Annie Lee Johnson; brothers, Willie Albert Johnson Jr. of Natchez and Wayne Anthony Johnson and wife, Carolyn, both of Jackson; sister, Lorraine Johnson of Natchez; granddaughter, JaLyric Johnson; and grandsons, Jaheim, TriDarrius and Makalin Johnson.
Pallbearers will be Thomas Morgan, Otis Morgan, Timothy Chatman, Clarence Davis, Albert James Johnson and Michael Simpson.
