VIDALIA — Services for Lawyer Hill Sassafras, 55, of Vidalia, who died Saturday, Dec. 22, 2007, in Vidalia, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Bethel Church, in Vidalia, with the Rev. Troy Thomas officiating.
Burial will follow at Vidalia Cemetery under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home in Ferriday.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church.
Mr. Sassafras was born Sept. 4, 1952, in Natchez, the son of Nick Hill and Lena Sassafras.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his brothers, Junior Hill, Glen Hill and Larry Hill; and a devoted friend, Ethel Scott, all of Vidalia.

I did know this man, but I am sorry that your loved one died.
He is with GOD now, and all his ailments are gone.
