MEADVILLE - Services for Bessie Mae Wactor Whittington, 85, of Meadville, who died Thursday, Dec. 27, 2007, at Franklin County Memorial Hospital, in Meadville, will be at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at Franklin Funeral Home Chapel in Meadville.

Burial will follow at Midway Cemetery under the direction of Franklin Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. today and from 12:30 until service time Sunday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Whittington was born Oct. 5, 1922, in Franklin County, the daughter of Quitman and Mary McCoy Wactor. She was a member of Bude Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Henry Whittington; a son; a grandson; a granddaughter; two sisters; and two brothers.

Survivors include a brother, Julius Wactor; sister, Madge Martin; granddaughter, Tracy Cowan; grandsons, Adam Kirk, Cole Rutherford and Troy Whittington; great-granddaughter, Amber Rutherford; great-great-grandson, Gabe Kirk; great-great-granddaughter, Isabella Kirk, all of Natchez; and a number of nieces and nephews.
