NATCHEZ - Services for Kimberly Charisse Mounger Fields, 29, of Natchez, who died Wednesday, Dec. 26, 2007, at University Medical Center, in Jackson, will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Pilgrim Baptist Church with the Rev. Birdon Mitchell Jr. officiating.

Burial will follow at Pine Hill Memorial Park under the direction of George F. West Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 5 to 10 p.m. today at Zion Chapel African Methodist Episcopal Church.

Mrs. Fields was born March 13, 1978, in Jackson, the daughter of Earnest M. and Brenda Johnson and Irish P. Mounger. She was a graduate of Clinton High School and Alcorn State University. Mrs. Fields was employed at Robert Lewis Middle School as a counselor. She was a member of Zion Chapel A.M.E. Church, the Missionary Society, Women’s Ministry, director of the Praise Dancers, a choir member, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority-Natchez Alumni Chapter and Kitchen Talk Women’s Group. She enjoyed shopping, traveling and spending time with family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father-in-law, Ernest Fields Jr.; her grandmother, Anna Mounger; and grandfathers, Sam Peter Mounger and Velman Williams Jr.

Survivors include her husband, Ernest “Tony” Fields III; her son, Ernest “Lil Tony” Fields IV, both of Natchez; her parents, Brenda F. Johnson and Earnest M. Johnson, both of Bolton; her father, Paul Mounger of Jackson; sister, Roshunda R. Mounger of Byram; brothers, Cortez D. Mounger of Dallas, Ga., Ricardo R. Mounger of Pascagoula and Paul M. Cavett of Clinton; grandparents, Annie Laura Williams of Clinton and Superintendent Earnest J. Johnson and wife, JoMary, both of Bolton; mother-in-law, Ellen Earls and husband, Thomas, both of Natchez; brother-in-law, Dedrick Harris and wife, Wenona, both of Houston; sisters-in-law, Tammy Jackson and husband, Mark, both of Chicago, Carol Rice and husband, Travis, both of Columbia, S.C., Evette Mathews and husband, Dewitt, both of Huntsville, Ala. and Timeka Burston of Natchez; and a number of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers will be Ciamino Dillon, Bradford J. William, Dietrich McDonald, Nakia Ransom, Ricky Gray and Nathaniel Roberts.
