Services for Walter Ryder Bacon, of Emeryville, Calif., formerly of Natchez, who died Thursday, Jan. 18, 2007 were held Jan. 25, 2007 with Samuel A. Bacon Jr. officiating.

Mr. Bacon was the son of Willie Mae Fleming Bacon and the late Samuel A. Bacon Sr. He was a graduate of Sadie V. Thompson High School.
