Services for Vera W. White, 89, of Winnsboro, formerly of Tallulah, will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday at the chapel of Gill First National Funeral Home in Winnsboro with Bro. Carl Huff and the Rev. Wayne Stroud officiating.

Burial will follow in Legion Memorial Cemetery in Newellton.

Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mrs. White was a member of the Church of Christ.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Woodrow W. White.

Survivors include four children, Donovan White and wife, Erna Faye, of Prairieville, Durwood White of Lafayette, Patsy Priest and husband, Hugh, of Winnsboro and Wayne White and wife, Loretta, of Capac, Mich.; two sisters, Lillie Ramsey of Newellton and Alice Burns of Natchez; 21 grandchildren; 43 great-grandchildren; five great-great grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews and other relatives and friendns.

Pallbearers will be Gary Davis, Tommy Gilbert, Mike Gremillion, Bill Hales, Larry Ozburn and Joe Pitarro.
