Eva Berryhill

Services for Eva Berryhill, 87, of Ferriday, formerly of New Orleans, who died Monday, Feb. 12, 2007, at Riverland Medical Center, in Ferriday, will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Saint Luke Methodist Church with the Rev. Troy Williams officiating.

Burial will follow at Providence Memorial Park and Mausoleum in Metairie, under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home, Ferriday.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church.

Mrs. Berryhill was born March 8, 1919, in Golden Meadows, La., the daughter of Alexander and Stella Riggans Lewis. She was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Rodgers F. Berryhill.

Survivors include her nephew and nieces, Aaron M. Haynes Sr. and wife, Myrtle, of Picayune, Michelle Bethea and her daughter, Crystal, of Clayton; a godchild, Earnestine Haynes of Hinesville, Ga.; and a number of cousins and other relatives.
