Lucille Davis
Services for Lucile Davis, who died Thursday, Jan. 11, 2007, at Central Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Magnolia Baptist Church with the Rev. Harold Smith officiating.
Burial will follow at Cooper Family Cemetery under the direction of Williams and Williams Funeral Home.
Family hour will be from 7 to 9 p.m. today at Mount Olive Baptist Church on Donegal Road in Woodville.
Ms. Davis was a member of Magnolia Baptist Church, the Order of the Eastern Star, Grand HIgh Court, Heroines of Jericho, Matron of Bathsheba Grand Chapter OES No. 158 and the Deaconess Board of Magnolia B.C. She was the president of the Mount Olive Burial Association.
Survivors include daughter, Patricia Adams of Jackson; four sons, Benjamin Davis Jr. and his wife, Dianne, both of Collierville, Tenn., Murray Davis of Woodville, MIchael Davis and his wife, Melvina and Emerson Davis all of Philadelphia, Penn.; two sisters, Annie Lewis and Emma Jackson and her husband, Harold, all of Woodville; three brothers, Bennie Cooper and Nolan Cooper, both of New Orleans and William Cooper and his wife, Juanita, of Woodville; 10 grandchildren and other relatives and friends.
