CARTHAGE, Texas — Joshua David Goodman, 24, of Gary, Texas, died Saturday, July 28, 2007, in Gary.
A time of rememberance and visitation was held from 7 to 8 p.m. Monday, July 30, 2007, at the Hawthorn Funeral Home in Carthage, Texas.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Hawthorn Funeral Home, P.O. Box 188, Carthage, Texas 75633.
Joshua was born in Natchez. He was a construction worker and a member of Southside Baptist Church. He loved fishing and spending time with friends and family.

Josh was the son of Julie Goodman, formerly of Ferriday and Natchez, moving to Gary Texas at the age of 2.5 yrs of age. Family in the Ferriday-Natchez area includes his Uncle, Jeffery Goodman and Aunt-Ann Goodman of Jeffery's Flower Shop in Ferriday, and their daughter Bethani Goodman. Josh was a very loving and wonderful son, he was always there for those who needed him and a great supporter of those in need. He will be dearly missed by those who knew him, AND FOR THOSE THAT NEVER BOTHERED TO KNOW HIM, YOU MISSED OUT ON A GREAT BLESSING.

I only New Josh from all that his wonderful Mother told me, he was a loving caring person, who cared and loved his mother. He will be missed by his loved ones. He was his mothers world, they were there for each other. Josh you will be missed. From Debra
