Graveside services for Cynthia Thames, 64, of Vidalia, who died Thursday, May 31, 2007, at Promise Hospital, in Ferriday, will be 11 a.m. Monday at Greenlawn Memorial Park with the Rev. Richard Cullum officiating.

Burial will follow under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home in Ferriday.

Visitation will be from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Thames was born Aug. 24, 1942, in Lake Charles, La., the daughter of Sessions Elwood Thames and Vera Lee Thames.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jackie Estis Sr.; and her parents.

Survivors include her daughter, Alisha Brewer, and Doug Prince, both of Ferriday and Loria Collier and husband, Randy, of Vidalia; son, Jackie Estis Jr. of Houston, Texas; seven grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
