Geneva Scott White

Services for Geneva Scott White, 94, of Ferriday, who died Thursday, May 31, 2007, at Riverland Medical Center, in Ferriday, will be 11 a.m. Saturday at St. James Baptist Church with Elder James Devine officiating.

Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home, Ferriday.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mrs. White was born Aug. 12, 1912, in Frogmore, the daughter of Elias and Jennie Lee Scott. She was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Clarence White; and all of her siblings.

Survivors include a great-niece and caregiver, Sharion Gordon and husband, Samuel, both of Ferriday; and other nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins.
