NATCHEZ — Memorial services for Rita Earle Wilson, 61, of Natchez, who died Thursday, May 24, 2007, at her residence, were Saturday, at Laird Funeral Union Street Chapel with the Rev. Barbara Bailey officiating.

Mrs. Wilson was born Oct. 30, 1945, in Laurel, the daughter of Earl Joseph and Dola L. Landrum Doyle.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Clyde Wilson; a sister, Glenda Allison; and two nephews, Ken and Mike Jones.

Survivors include, son, Ron Shoemake; sister Carol Miley and her husband, David; three grandchildren , Aaron Shoemake, Haley Wilson and Addison Stewart; two step-children, Peter Alan Wilson and Susan Verucchi; three neices, Sharon Whittman, Rhonda Dietrick and Lynn Jones; and two nephews David Miley and his wife, Jamie and Mike Jones.
