NEWELLTON — Graveside services for Barbara Knapp, 66, of St. Joseph, who died Monday, June 4, 2007, at Natchez Regional Medical Center, will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Legion Memorial Cemetery with the Bro. Jack Knapp officiating.

Burial will follow under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home, Ferriday.

Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mrs. Knapp was born Nov. 26, 1940, in Danville, Ark., the daughter of John A. T. Vestal and Thelma Faye Martin Vestal. She was a member of the Church of Christ. Mrs. Knapp was a devoted wife, loving mother and grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her mother.

Survivors include her husband, Jerry Wayne Knapp of St. Joseph; father, John Z.T. Vestal of Roxie; daughter, Connie Williams and husband, Ken, both of Bush, La., and Christina Beasley and husband, Steve, both of Cedar City, Utah; son, Jeffery Knapp and wife, Barbara, both of Tupelo; grandchildren, Katie, Jordie and Jess Williams, Taylor and Paige Knapp, Morgan Fisher, Anna, Ally and Katy Beasley; and siblings, Latoya Welch, Linda Black, John Vestal, Ronald Vestal, Tommy Vestal, Russell Vestal, Lou Ann Cosper and Lisa Wimberly.

Pallbearers will be Ken Williams, Jess Williams, Steve Beasley, Perry Moses, Brian Black and Zack Cosper.
