Celestine "Cellar" Butler

NATCHEZ — Services for Celestine “Cellar” Butler, 69, of Natchez, who died Saturday, June 2, 2007, at Natchez Regional Medical Center, will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Zion Chapel No. 2 Church of Kingston, with the Rev. Walter L. Smith Sr. officiating.

Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of Webb Funeral System.

Visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home and from 11 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church.

Mrs. Butler was the daughter of Emma J. Turner and Clarence Tucker.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, James Henry Turner; grandmother; four aunts; and an uncle.

Survivors include her husband of 57 years, Mark A. Butler; daughters, Charlotte and Patricia, both of Houston, Texas, Dorothy and Yvonne, both of Natchez, and Lutricha of Poplarville.; adopted children, Lavonne of Poplarville and Reginald of Natchez; sons, Marcus, George and Andrew, all of Houston; godchildren, Laura Ann Reynolds and Michael Joe Jones, both of Natchez; and other family and friends.
