Robert Graze

1920 - 2007

NATCHEZ — Services for Robert Graze, 87, of Natchez, who died Saturday, June 9, 2007, at his residence, will be noon today at Greater Mount Sinai Baptist Church with the Rev. James Beverly officiating.

Burial will follow at the Natchez National Cemetery under the direction of George F. West Funeral Home.

Mr. Graze was born Feb. 27, 1920, in Centreville, the son of Emmanuel Haynes and Lizzie Boatner. He was retired from Armstrong Tire and Rubber Company. He was a member of Greater Mount. Sinai Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Ida Mae Scott Graze; his parents; grandparents, Albert and Julia Boatner and sisters, Lois Taylor and Lillie Mae Patrick.

Survivors include his children, James “Boo” Thomas and Marguerite Graze and husband, Samuel, all of Natchez and Nettie Roberta Jones of New Orleans; 13 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Pallbearers will be friends of the family.
