Harold C. Golden

NATCHEZ — Services for Harold C. Golden, 84, of Natchez, who died Saturday, June 23, 2007, in Natchez, will be 11 a.m. today at Laird Funeral Home Union Street Chapel with the Rev. Frank Davis, the Rev. David Brooks and the Rev. David O’Connor officiating.

Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.

Mr. Golden was born Nov. 21, 1922, in Hico, La., the son of Z.B. Golden and Mattie Lou Moncrief Golden.

He was preceded in death by his father; his mother, Mattie Lou Van Vranken; step-father, Lawrence Van Vranken; and a granddaughter, Beth Bunch.

Survivors include his wife, Roma Golden of Natchez; children, Kendall Golden and wife, Lori, of Ridgeland, Gary Golden and wife, Linda, and Chuck Golden and wife, Diane, and Donald Golden, all of Natchez, and Regina Pittman and husband, Jerry, of Lafayette; grandchildren, Gabriel Golden, Sam Golden, Joseph Golden, Christopher Golden, Sarah Beth Golden, Jennifer Golden, Patrick Golden, Mary Katherine Golden, Matthew Golden, Caroline Golden, Melissa Pittman, Clint Pittman and Jennifer Bunch; great-granddaughter, Abby Rushing; sister, Virginia Golden Brown; a number of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearer will be grandsons.
