NATCHEZ — Services for Curtis Lee Minor Sr., 52, of Natchez, who died Thursday, June 21, 2007, at his residence, will be 11 a.m. Friday at Zion Flower Baptist Church with the Rev. Dan Alexander officiating.

Burial will follow at Second Union Baptist Church Cemetery under the direction of Webb Funeral System.

Visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home and from 10 a.m. until service time Friday at the church.

Mr. Minor was born Dec. 6, 1954, in Natchez, the son of Willie Elery and Fannie Minor. He was a 1972 graduate of North Natchez High School. He was a surveyor with Hayward Baker.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, James Ferguson, Robert Odem and Ameal Griffin.

Survivors include his daughters, Curstine Chatman of Fort Lee, Va. and Monique Minor of Gonzales, La.; a son, Curtis Minor Jr. and wife, Yolunda, of Fayetteville, N. C.; sisters, Dorothy Butler of New Orleans, Vera Elery and husband, Monroe, Martha Cain, Shirley Givens and husband, Jerry, Hattie Ealey and husband, Alvin, all of Natchez, Linda Sanders and husband, Mark, of Columbus, Exeleana Jefferson and husband, Dave, Brenda Moore and husband, Kenneth, and Laura Vaughn, all of Chicago; brothers, Johnny Minor and fiance´, Sarah McDuffy, of Natchez, Charles Elery and wife, Barbara, Lee Calvin Elery and wife, Nancy, and Johnny Elery and wife, Daisy, all of Chicago; a devoted friend, Debra Williams and her sons, Earl, Matthew and Cedric, all of Natchez; aunts, Thresa Ford, Lena Stewart, Bertha King, all of Natchez, Hazel Ford, Hattie Crumb, Odessa Stevenson, all of Ferriday, Dora Clemons, Barbara Griffin, and Alberta Clemons, all of Las Vegas; uncles, Monroe Elery, Ernest Clemons, Charlie Clemons, all of Natchez and Sam Elery of Minneapolis. Minn.; a grandchild, Taylor Minor; godchild, Alexis Calhoun of Natchez; and a number of nieces, nephews cousins, and friends.

Pallbearers will be the 386th Transportation Company.

Honorary pallbearers will be nephews.
