Wayne Ray "Peanut" Havard Sr.

1938 - 2007

MEADVILLE — Memorial services for Wayne Ray “Peanut” Havard Sr., 69, of Roxie, who died Tuesday, June 26, 2007, at Southwest Regional Medical Center, in McComb, will be announced at a later date.

Mr. Havard was born May 3, 1938, in Natchez, the son of William W. Havard and Eva Mae Graves Havard. He was retired from Armstrong Tire and Rubber Company. He was a hunter and a cattleman.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his wife, Gale Pansano Havard of Roxie; son, Wayne Havard Jr. and wife, Nikki, of Natchez; stepson, Jimmy Trindle and wife, Debby, of San Marcus, Texas; daughter, Robin McKinley and husband, Randy, of Natchez; brothers, James W. Havard and wife, Betty, of Hattiesburg, Willie O. Havard and wife, Jo, of Roxie and Hilton Havard and wife, Dee, of Natchez; sisters, Ruth Shiers and husband, Chester, of Natchez, Barbara Corkern and Betty Smith, both of Wesson; five grandchildren; a great-grandchild; his beloved dog, Cricket; stepbrother, Hershel Humes of Kingston; and stepsister, Dolly Humes of Natchez.
