NATCHEZ — Services for Martha Knight, 83, of Natchez, who died Tuesday, June 26, 2007, will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Pry’s Temple Baptist Church with the Rev. James C. Anderson officiating.

Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of Webb Funeral System.

Visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mrs. Knight was born Oct. 20, 1924, the daughter of Alex and Ester Lena Collins. She was a member of Pry’s Temple Baptist Church where she served as a choir member and on the Mother’s Board.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and a sister, Mary Stewart.

Survivors include her husband, Albert Knight of Natchez; a son, George “Peter Rabbit” Davis of Natchez; grandchildren, Creseda Crawford and husband, Leon, and Joyce Johnson, all of Natchez, Deautral Davis and husband, Dan, and Lucretia Butler and husband Kenneth, all of Houston, Texas, Phyllis Haywood of Atlanta, Travoy and Tremaine of Texas, Ricky and Tony Hill of Las Vegas, Rhonda Page and Luvette Baldwin and husband, Willie, both of Atlanta; a number of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
