NATCHEZ — Services for Robert Louis Sextion, 68, of Natchez, formerly of New Orleans, who died Friday, June 22, 2007, will be 10 a.m. Saturday at George F. West Funeral Home Chapel with Carrie Jackson Wiley officiating.

Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home and from 10 a.m. until service time Saturday at the funeral home.

Mr. Sextion was born July 29, 1938, in Waterproof, the son of James Sextion and Rose B. Wiley. He was a longshoreman.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Jerry Wiley, Phillip Sextion Sr. and Nelson Sextion; sisters, Annie White and Katie Taylor; and a grandson, Steve Givens Jr.

Survivors include his wife, Clotell R. Sextion; daughters, Wanda Jackson of Natchez, Donna Givens, Rose Ware and husband, Darryl, Patricia Byrd and husband, Elvis, all of New Orleans, and Shonne Johnson of Natchitochez, Texas; grandchildren, Walter Sextion, Jessica Morris, Trisha Ware, LaShondra Givens, Darryl Ware Jr., Jeremy Givens, Brandon Byrd, Sharian and Kaylah Johnson; five great-grandchildren; sisters, Clara Sextion of Buffalo, N. Y., Betsy Jackson of Las Vegas, Angeline Sparks and Sister LaCille, both of Westwego, La.; brother-in-law, Joseph Reed; sisters-in-law, Virginia Rounds and husband, Andrew, Edna Cage and husband, Lonnie, Queen Ester Clark, all of Natchez, Carrie Jackson of Porter, Okla. and Matilda Ross of Milwaukee, Wisc.; a number of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Pallbearers will be McKinley Phipps, Darryl Ware Sr., George Phipps, Robert Phipps, James Rounds and Elvis Byrd.
