WATERPROOF — Services for Tommy Fields, 78, of Waterproof, who died Monday, June 25, 2007, at Franklin Medical Center, in Winnsboro, will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Cypress Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. Charlie Washington officiating.

Burial will follow at Barcelona Cemetery, in Waterproof, under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home, Ferriday.

Visitation will be from noon until service time Saturday at the church.

Mr. Fields was born Oct. 19, 1928, in Waterproof, the son of Jessie and Cassie Fields. He was a farmer.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his caregiver and niece, Betty Fields of Waterproof; other nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins.
