John Thomas

Services for John Thomas, 75, of Natchez, who died Monday, Feb. 26, 2007, at his residence, will be noon Saturday at George F. West Funeral Home Chapel with Minister James Thomas officiating.

Burial will follow at Pine Hill Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of George F. West Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mr. Thomas was born in Jefferson County, the son of Henry Thomas and Louella Thomas.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Delia Thomas; his parents; and brother, Bennie Thomas.

Survivors include his sons, John Thomas Jr., Edward Thomas and Walter Thomas, all of Natchez; daughters, Alice Thomas and Georgia Anderson and husband, Freddie, all of Natchez; brothers, James Thomas and Ira Thomas, both of Natchez; 11 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and a special great-grandchild, Kendrick Thomas of Natchez.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
