Helga Good, Meadville

MEADVILLE - Services for Helga Good, 72, of Meadville, who died Tuesday, Oct. 30, 2007, at King's Daughters Hospital, in Brookhaven, will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Mount Zion Baptist Church, in Franklin County.

Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of Franklin Funeral Home in Meadville.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until service time Thursday at the church.

Mrs. Good was born Nov. 9, 1935, in Adams County, the daughter of William Olsen and Velma Byrd Olsen. She was a homemaker and a member of Mount Zion Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Odis Good Sr.; and infant sister.

Survivors include her sons, Ricky Howell and Joe Good, both of Decatur, Texas and Lavell Good of Bude; daughters, Sandra Jones and Judy Gilbert, both of Meadville and Jeanette Vasquez of Bude; stepdaughter, Debbie Smith of Natchez; 15 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; and special cousin, Alma Lee Huber of Summerville, Texas.

Pallbearers will be Jason Jones, Gasey Good, Will Good, Cody Jones, Jonathan Gilbert, Marshall Good, Brandon Good and Adiel Vasquez.

Honorary pallbearers will be Wesley Howell, Dr. Ben Yarbrough and James Newman.
