No matter how long of time passed between the times we saw each other, Betty was always the same. She was such a sweet spirited person. To her family, I am praying for you all and pray that you will sense God's comfort. I don't know who wrote this but I just received it this morning.
Now that I am gone,
remember me with smiles and laughter.
And if you need to cry,
cry with your brother or sister
who walks in grief beside you.
And when you need me,
put your arms around anyone
and give to them what you need to give to me.
There are so many who need so much.
I want to leave you something --
something much better than words or sounds.
Look for me in the people I've known
or helped in some special way.
Let me live in your heart
as well as in your mind.
You can love me most
by letting your love reach out to our loved ones,
by embracing them and living in their love.
Love does not die, people do.
So, when all that's left of me is love,
give me away as best you can.

A Better Place
She's in a better place right now
Than she's ever been before;
All pain is gone; she's now at rest;
Nothing troubles her anymore.
It's we who feel the burden of
Our sadness and our grief;
We have to cry, to morn our loss,
Before we get relief.
We know we'll reconnect with her
At the end of each life's road;
We'll see her cherished face again
When we release our earthly load.
I'm going to miss you, my classmate, my friend.
To The McDonald Family: I want to express my deep sympathies to you in your time of loss. The process of grief is a hard one and takes time. The one thing I know for certain is this, the love you have for Betty and she for you, will stay with you forever. May God Bless and Keep You.
