Kathleen Jones Cole, Natchez

1942 - 2008

NATCHEZ — Services for Kathleen Jones Cole, 65, of Boaz, Ky., formerly of Natchez, will be 11 a.m. today at Laird Funeral Home with the Rev. Bart Walker officiating.
Burial will follow at the Natchez City Cemetery under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.
Visitation was from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday, at Laird Funeral Home.
Cole was born May 18, 1942, in Natchez, to Howard L. and Mildred E. Redell Jones Sr. She was a member of First Baptist Church and a member of the Pilgrimage Garden Club.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include two daughters, Kelly Hackett and husband Rod, of Boaz, Ky., and Scottie Barlow and husband Jeff, of Boaz; seven grandchildren, Cole Hackett, Madison Hackett, Ogden Hackett, Avery Hackett, Kathleen Barlow, Joseph Barlow and Anna Grace Barlow; and one brother, Howard Lee Jones Jr., of Natchez.
Memorials may be made to the Natchez Children’s Home or the American Cancer Society.
Pallbearers will be Rod Hackett, Jeff Barlow, Cole Hackett, Ogden Hackett, Howard Jones and Sterling Dossett.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Avery Hackett and Joseph Barlow.
