ROXIE - Services for Andrew Monroe Dixon Jr., 56, of Chicago, formerly of Franklin County, who died Tuesday, April 15, 2008, in Chicago, will be at 1 p.m. today at Roxie First Baptist Church.
Burial will follow at Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery, in Franklin County, under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home in Bude.
Mr. Dixon was born July 3, 1951, in Natchez, the son of Andrew Monroe Dixon Sr. and Mazie Dyer.
He was preceded in death by his father; one brother, Steven A. Dixon; and one niece, Angie M. Riggins.
Survivors include one daughter, LaTonja Best; one son, Andrew Monroe Dixon III, both of Chicago; his mother; seven sisters, Mary Webb, Marion Dixon, Alretha Mason, Maria Dyer Riggins, Myrtis Craig, Rita Washington and Andrea Dixon; five brothers, Marshall Dixon, Otis Dyer Sr., Jeffrey Dyer Sr., Gregory Dixon and Derrice Dixon; and a number of nieces, Nephews, other relatives and friends.
