Carolyn Wood, Natchez

NATCHEZ - Graveside services for Carolyn Wood, 89, of Vidalia, who died Sunday, April 20, 2008, at Natchez Regional Medical Center, will be at a later date.
Mrs. Wood was born Sept. 22, 1918, in Blytheville, Ark., the daughter of Louis C. and Elizabeth Johnson. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Natchez.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Robert “Bob” Wood; and two daughters, Bobby Carolyn Wood and Elizabeth “Liz” Hedger.
Survivors include one son, William L. Wood and wife, Judith, both of Monterey; two daughters, Candace Clark and husband, Doug, both of Vidalia, and Edith Harrison and husband, Gary, both of Pelahatchie; seven grandchildren, George Wood and wife, Candice, both of Conroe, Texas, Major Bill Wood of Hamilton, Wash., Toby Clark and wife, Olivia, both of Chattanooga, Tenn., Jenny Clark of Meridian, Julie Floyd and Penny Collins and husband, Wilkie Joe, all of Natchez, and Andy Reed and wife, Jodie, both of Pelahatchie; and seven great-grandchildren, Jessica Wood, Major Bill Wood Jr., William D. Wood, Conner Wood, Beth Floyd, Clay Floyd and Savana Reed.
