Ashton Jacobi Long, Ferriday
FERRIDAY - Services for Ashton Jacobi Long, 16, of Clayton, who died Sunday, April 20, 2008, at St. Jude’s Children Research Hospital, in Memphis, Tenn., will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Harvest Baptist Church with the Rev. Charles Chandler officiating.
Burial will follow at Zion Baptist Church Cemetery, in Foules, La., under the direction of Smith Funeral Home in Monroe, La.
Visitation will be from 7 to 8 p.m. today at the church.

I was Ashton's 7th grade Science Teacher at Ferriday Junior High School. He was a pleasure to teach. He was a very sweet kid. I am glad to have had the opportunity to teach and to get to know him. My prayers and thoughts are with his family. Rest on Ashton, you will forever be loved and missed.

Yes Ashton was an amazing boy. He was loved by many and well thought of by many many more. He fought the good fight, but Mom & Family weres right there fighting too
Their christian lives were shining brightly for everyone to see. This little light is everlasting as he is brought home to our Lord and Savior.
