FERRIDAY- Services for Bobby Ray Skipper, 50, of Ferriday, who died Monday, April 21, 2008, at his residence, will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at New Morning Star Baptist Church with the Rev. Willie Birdon officiating.
Burial will follow at Ferriday Cemetery under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home in Ferriday.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Mr. Skipper was born Aug. 4, 1957, in Ferriday, the son of Mullin Johnson and Beulah Skipper Conner.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Survivors include his mother; one brother, Billy Johnson of San Diego; one sister, Vertis Boyce of Compton, Calif.; one aunt, Birdie Freeman of St. Joseph; three uncles, Manuel Lee of Ferriday, Freddie Lee of Missouri City, Texas and Henry Simpson of Pineville, La.
