NATCHEZ - Services for Hattie Felton Bindon, 94, of Natchez, who died Wednesday, April 16, 2008, at Promise Specialty Hospital, in Ferriday, will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Second Union Baptist Church with the Rev. Robert Strickland officiating.
Burial will follow at Pine Hill Memorial Park under the direction of Robert D. Mackel and Sons Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from noon until 6 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Mrs. Bindon was born Nov. 12, 1913, in Grenada. She was formerly employed with Natchez Steam Laundry as a presser. She was a Baptist.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Colie Bindon Jr.; her parents; three brothers; and a daughter and three sons.
Survivors include three daughters, Mary Ridley and Ma’Dora Wallace and husband, Thomas J., all of Natchez, and Cora Stewart of Detroit; 17 grandchildren; a number of great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers will be friends of the family.
