John Walter Hogue Jr., Delhi, La.
DELHI, La. - Services for John Walter Hogue Jr., 77, who died Tuesday, April 22, 2008, in an automobile accident in Clayton, will be at noon Saturday at Delhi Presbyterian Church.
Burial will follow at Legion Cemetery, in Newellton, La., under the direction of Carothers-Glenwood Funeral Home in Tallulah, La.
Visitation will be today at the funeral home.
Mr. Hogue was born in Natchez and lived in Tensas Parish most of his life. He was a farmer and a member of Delhi Presbyterian church.

Dad would want all those reading this to consider that life is very short (even 77 years!) Dad would often come up to complete strangers and ask directly if they knew the Lord. If not, Dad would tell them about Jesus and what He had done for him. Dad did not seem to care so much about offending someone by this so much as he cared that that person's soul could be in peril. So, I ask you, on my Dad's behalf (and your own), do you know Jesus? Will you repent of your old useless and stupid sinful ways and give your heart wholly to him? May God grant you this grace.
