Mamie L. Williams, Natchez

NATCHEZ - Services for Mamie L. Williams, 87, of Natchez, who died Friday, April 18, 2008, at Adams County Nursing Center, will be at noon Saturday at New Hope Baptist Church with the Rev. James Beverly officiating.
Burial will follow at St. Paul Baptist Church Cemetery under the direction of Williams and Williams Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 7 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Survivors include her husband, Thomas Williams Sr. of Chicago; four daughters, Bessie Davis, Edrena Smith and husband, Raythell, and Andrea Anderson and husband, James, all of Natchez, and Mamie Sylvester of Tracy, Calif.; four sons, Thomas Williams Jr. and wife, Irene, both of Carson, Calif., and Robert Williams and wife, Mary, both of Ingleside, Calif., Morris Williams and wife, Stacey, and Norris Williams, all of Natchez; one sister-in-law, Leola White of Chicago; two devoted nieces, Laura Hardin and Lula Hunt and husband, Charles, all of Natchez; 23 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
