Juanita P. Gaughran, Natchez

1918 - 2008

NATCHEZ - Graveside services for Juanita P. Gaughran, who died Sunday, April 27, 2008, at Camelot Leisure Living, will be at 11 a.m. today at Natchez City Cemetery with the Rev. Jason Cole officiating.
Burial will follow under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.
Mrs. Gaughran was born Nov. 11, 1918, in Natchez, the daughter of Herbert Morman Carman and Etta Wilson Carman. She was a life long resident of Natchez and a member of Trinity Episcopal Church. She was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. Mrs. Gaughran retired after 35 years as office manager and bookkeeper with Mr. John Nosser and Natchez Super Stores.
She was preceded in death by her parents; granddaughter, Candace Gaughran; and one sister, Julia C. Spencer.
Survivors include one son, John E. Gaughran III and wife, Jane, both of Vidalia; one niece, Carmen Presgrove; one nephew, Walter Doughty Jr., both of Natchez; and a number of other nieces and nephews.
