Glen Wesley Hall, Natchez

1950 - 2008

NATCHEZ - Graveside services for Glen Wesley Hall, 57, of Jackson, formally of Natchez, who died Sunday, April 27, 2008, in Jackson, will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Natchez City Cemetery with the Rev. Faye Hudnall officiating.
Burial will follow under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time Thursday at the funeral home.
Mr. Hall was born May 4, 1950, in Natchez, the son of Harry Wesley and Neila Whitehead Hall. He was a 1968 graduate of Natchez High School. He received his bachelor’s degree from Millsaps College in 1972 and his juris doctorate degree from the University of Mississippi in 1975.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include two sons, Wesley D. Hall and wife, Kathleen, and Patrick S. Hall; one daughter, Katherine C. Hall, all of Brandon; and one brother, David W. Hall of Natchez.
Pallbearers will be Fred Callon, Dr. Swink Hicks, Dickie Hutchinson, Mike Smith, Archie McKay and Paul Saik.

Glen was a very good friend in the old days. I was always jealous of him in P.E. I would get yelled at for only being able to manage about 15 sit ups while Glen would be made to stop at 300. He and Doc Hicks, Dickie Laird and myself all had our first (really ugly, still hurts) learning experience with the demon rum (actually Southern Comfort) the night before an Ole Miss/ LSU football game in Jackson back in about 64 or 65. We should all go visit our old friends. I'll miss you, Glen
