ST. JOSEPH, La. - Services for Jeremy Jymson Hilliard, 15, of Waterproof, La., who died Monday, Jan. 28, 2008, from injuries sustained in a house fire in Waterproof, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Tensas High School Gymnasium, in St. Joseph, with the Rev. Aaron Germany officiating.
Burial will follow at China Grove Church Cemetery, in St. Joseph, under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home in Ferriday.
Jeremy was born Oct. 13, 1992, in Ferriday, the son of Joseph Hilliard Sr. and Betty Ellis Hilliard. He was a student at Tensas High School. He was also a member of Oakwood Baptist Church.
Survivors include his parents; one brother, Joseph Hilliard Jr. of Waterproof; three sisters, Regina Hilliard and Elisha Hilliard, both of Arlington, Texas and Franetta Hilliard of Fort Worth, Texas; paternal grandmother, Etta Ruth Hilliard of Clayton; two nieces; one nephew; a number of aunts, uncles and cousins; and his friends and classmates at Tensas High School.
