NATCHEZ — Funeral services for Patricia A. King, 69, of Natchez, who died Jan. 31, 2008 at St. Dominic Hospital, in Jackson, will be 10 a.m. Monday at Laird Funeral Home Union Street Chapel with the Dr. John Larson and the Rev. Steve Pearson officiating. Burial will follow at 2 p.m. at Lakewood Memorial Park Cemetery, in Jackson, under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. Monday until the time of service at Laird Funeral Home.
Mrs. King was born June 26, 1938, in Birmingham, Ala., the daughter of Harry Lynn and Beatrice Brasfield Atkinson. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church and the Eastern Star. She is preceded in death by her parents, sister Wanda Greer, granddaughter Toby King and grandson Daniel Buckner.
Survivors include her husband, John F. King Jr.; two sons, John King and wife Pam, of Foley, Ala., and David King and wife Marie, of Jackson; daughter Michelle Hammond and husband, Scott, of Houston; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Scott Hammond, Kevin Hammond, Lee Martin, John Baker, Patrick Buckner and John Cain.
The family will like to thank her loving caregivers, Dr. Kenneth Stubbs, Kim Johnson and Vicky Rutter.
