NATCHEZ - Graveside services for Henry Willard Sr., 86, of Natchez, who died Monday, March 3, 2008, at his residence, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Greenlawn Memorial Park with the Rev. Marc Mihail officiating.
Burial will follow under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.
Mr. Willard was born Nov. 26, 1921, in Natchez, the son of Elmer Franklin and Willie Edna Stroud Willard.
He is preceded in death by his parents; eight brothers, Frank, Louis, Herbert, Robert, Ray, Lloyd, Billy, and Hewlett; and two sisters, Helen Blake and Mabel Lee Jurick.
Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Kathryn “Pat” Willard; one brother, Wallace Willard; two sisters, Laura Barnes and Mary Louise Ellis; two sons, Henry Newlin Willard Jr., and Willie S. Willard and wife, Pamela; one daughter, Barbara Willard Barnes and husband, Larry; nine grandchildren, Will Willard and wife, Meaghan, Todd Willard and wife, Jennifer, David Vogt and, Annie, Ashley Willard, Carlin Willard, Madeline St. Julian and husband, Rene, and Katy Barnes; three great-granddaughters, Kayla Willard, Lexie Willard, and Taylor Willard Grace.
