Charles Ivy Beard, Jonesville, La.

1965 - 2008

JONESVILLE - Services for Charles Ivy Beard, 43, of Jonesville, who died Wednesday, April 30, 2008, in Houston, will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Young’s Funeral Home with the Rev. Raymond Beard officiating.
Burial will follow at Scott Cemetery, in Monterey, under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home in Jonesville.
Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. today and from noon until service time Sunday at the funeral home.
Mr. Beard was born April 2, 1965, in Ferriday, the son of Carlos C. Beard and Betty Holloway Beard.
He was preceded in death by his father; paternal grandparents, Ivy and Etta Beard of Monterey; maternal grandparents, Hoyet and Evelyn Holloway of Ferriday; and an infant brother.
Survivors include his wife, Evelyn Beard; his mother; one daughter, Jennifer Nicole Beard of Vidalia; one son, Tyler Joseph Norris of Bentonville, Ark.; two stepsons, Christopher Bowen, of Jonesville, and Donald Tipton Jr. of Hessmer, La.; one sister, Lisa Beard of Jonesville; two brothers, Kevin Beard and wife, Tammye, and Carlos “Cowboy” Beard, all of Jonesville; one special nephew, Justin Grant and wife, Megan, both of Jonesville; and three grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Donald Woods, Alvin Garrison, George Beard, Dustin Beard, Justin Grant and Heath Herron.
Honorary pallbearers will be Clinton B. Schneider Jr. and Brad Young.

Jennifer Iam so sorry for your loss It was always hard to tell what Charles was going to do next. But the one thing is for certain he loved you so much and he will truely be missed
