NATCHEZ - Services for Elizabeth “Liz” Ruth Lees, 49, of Natchez, who died Thursday, May, 22, 2008, at Natchez Regional Medical Center, will be at 3 p.m. today at Laird Funeral Home Union Street Chapel with the Rev. Spruce Derden officiating.
Burial will follow at Natchez City Cemetery under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 2 p.m. until service time today at the funeral home.
Ms. Lees was born July 28, 1958, in Algiers, La., the daughter of Alford and Frances Alexander Edwards.
Ms. Lees was preceded in death by her father; and a brother, Charles Kenneth Edwards.
Survivors include one son, Jeffery Kenneth Hinson and wife, Amanda, both of Natchez; one daughter, Melissa Elizabeth Lees of Natchez; her mother, Frances Hammond of Natchez; one sister, Joyce Agent of New Orleans; four grandchildren; one niece; and two nephews.
Pallbearers will be Jamie Keyes, Phillip Hill, Brian Hill, Jim Hill, Roy Fuller and Shawn Agent.
