VIDALIA — Funeral services for Kathleen Demby, 44, of Irving, Texas, formerly of Vidalia, who died Nov. 25, 2008 at Baylor Hospital in Irving, will be 1 p.m. Saturday at the Young’s Chapel Baptist Church in Vidalia with the Rev. Douglas Logan officiating.
Burial will follow at the Vidalia Cemetery under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Ms. Demby was born May 19, 1964, in Natchez, the daughter of Clifton and Lula Bowman Demby. She was a schoolteacher. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include five brothers, Richard R. Demby and Deron Demby of Irving, Donny Demby of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., Alvin Demby of Wichita, Kan., and Clifton Bowman of Marysville, Calif.; three sisters, Brenda Richardson of Dallas, Janal Demby of Irving and Cynthia Dixon of Vidalia; four aunts; seven uncles; and numerous nieces and nephews.
