Balloon race brings in the most family atmosphere and I like to see all the balloons floating around teh sky.

I like the Festival of Mammon when that big mechanical pig roots around Natchez looking for grant money. Our whole family enjoys that one.

I like all festivals.

Since when is Joe Fortenberry a bartender at Andrew's? The only people I have seen working are Hunter and Melissa. Joe sold it, right?

Just go out and have some fun people! There is lots to do even if you don't want to go to any festival. Fall is a beautiful time in the area, with good weather and cooler temps, so get out and do something. I can't wait for the kayack demo and Phat Water race in Oct.

The Balloon Race, of course! After all, that was mine and my husband's first date 19 years ago, so it has sentimental value for us! We still go even though our kids are a little older now. They, too, love it!
My second pick would be the Jim Bowie Festival. I love to fellowship with friends and neighbors, as well as gazing at all of the goodies at the booths, and the aroma of the food...especially BBQ! Yummy to my tummy!!

Floozie Day... whatever happened to that one?

Posted by Yeahuhuh (anonymous) on September 27, 2008 at 8:11 a.m.

Amen! Floozie Day!

I think we should have a Floozie Convention -- A Floozie Festival for libertines and exhibitionists! A celebration of tasteful impropriety.

That's what Natchez once had! Now we have the hotels and the internet, so doing it could be pretty easy.

Of course, someone could go to hell for that, I guess. Or maybe it would give a few people a reason to live a little longer before they did.
